Jorge Manuel Seiça Dinis Calvete, founded CAUSA & FEITO in 1997 as a local company, and since its inception, besides the accounting related services, provided financial consultancy services and submitted successful applications to European Union funds. Shortly after 1998, influenced by his proximity as resident to Marinha Grande industrial pole (that during decades had very pronounced cycles, sometimes outstanding and very growing economic periods, followed by the worse and depressed ones) began his activity as insolvency administrator. Simultaneously, with his numerous relate activities, have been directly connected to ONEBIZ Group during 7 years, and developed the Business Brokerage business in the Mergers & Acquisitions sector, basing offices at Marinha Grande and Leiria – Portugal’s central important economic cities. Always on the path of recovering and restructuring businesses, besides administrating CAUSA & FEITO, his professional activity currently passes essentially by the Judicial Administrator activity, counting with more then 1200 appointments in insolvency and recovery proceedings of companies (of different sizes and relevance) counting in his curriculum with companies and business groups of large economic dimension and importance, which can be viewed at www.jorgecalvete.pt.

Armando Jorge Vital do Carmo, integrated CAUSA & FEITO at 1998, as a trainee accountant, but very shortly after was appointed Head of Accountancy Department. Later on, with the natural growth pace of the company, extends competences to the financial consultancy and development of appliance projects of to European Community funds, being his main vocation the accounting and management control systems with more than 17 years of experience. He became a CAUSA & FEITO partner in 2005 and is currently the Administrator of Marinha Grande’s office, applying his extensive experience as an accountant and also as a recognized legal expert and trainer.

Bruno Costa Pereira initiated his activity as an economist, integrating CAIXANOVA, a Spanish financial institution. Performed duties in its Credit Risk Department in Spain, and a year later returned to Portugal firstly to assume Corporate Regional Management for the North Region (integrating both Oporto and Braga Business Centers), and shortly after being Head of Credit Recovery Direction, role that assumed continuously up until 2014 ( having coordinated hundreds of projects, both in its judicial and extrajudicial dimensions). In the exercise of his functions, he led, on several occasions, corporate financial restructuring projects, taking over the negotiation control with the various credit institutions operating in Portugal, as well as with most of other creditors.

After ten years of activity, he considered it was time to take on new professional challenges, having started a career in the area of business consulting / advisory, an activity that he maintains in parallel with that of a judicial administrator, career in which he entered on May 2015.

In the course of his activity, integrated CAUSA & FEITO in 2015, implementing the company on the North f Portugal, basing offices in Oporto, with a focus on business recovery, mergers and purchase and sale of companies.

Focused, insightful and with a strong capacity to establish consensus, he is well-acquainted with the Iberian financial system, constituting an important added value in negotiating solutions with financial partners.

In 1994 after terminating graduating in Economy at the prestgious Coimbra University, joined PriceWaterhouseCoopers (former Coopers & Lybrand,) Audit Division at Oporto, where he remained 4 years.

In 1998 opted to embrace business management projects, starting as CFO and Administrator of real estate companies and textile industries, with a special incidence on Portugal central region where he acquired a vast experience on asset management and company recovering and restructuring projects.

In 2015 joined CAUSA & FEITO, with the responsability of developing the Business Brokerage network.

Since 2005 is member of fiscal and tax advising counsel of Caixa de Crédito Agrícola Mútuo da Beira Centro.

António Tomaz Loureiro, started in 1993 its professional activity as a trainee at “Grupo Soima” as controller. After he embraced functions as Chief Financial Officer in a International Trading company. Passed through auditing being statutory auditor and chartered accountant. At 1999 António chose to rreturn to executive functions assuming as financial director in a company on the stone and ornamental rocks sector. Since then incorporated as Financial Director, Manager and Administrator, various companies in distinct industries, such as: pottery/ceramic, Concrete and cements, construction, aluminium, wood. In this period accumulated international experience, more specifically In Mozambique and England. Through out all of this years maintained a parallel constancy activity in various companies in Portugal central region.
With such a accumulated experience integrated CAUSA & FEITO in 2012 creating its Causa & Feito Coimbra essentially recovers and restructures companies and businesses, along with all related financial consultancy and assistance.
Is currently the managing partner of Causa & Feito Coimbra.

João Manuel Dias Tomé, throughout all is professional experience has been connected to the financial sector, mainly to corporate banking. Started at BNU Bank Corporate Center at 1998, having passed to SANTANDER Corporate Direction and then to BARCLAYS CORPORATE where he was a Director between 2009 and 2013. In 2014 was corporate banking consultant at BANCO POPULAR. During all this period, he closely followed all sectors of activity and companies of all dimensions – SMEs and Large Companies, as well as processes of financial restructuring and divestment of Barclays Corporate in Portugal.
In November 2014 he began collaborating with CAUSA & FEITO, focusing on the elaboration of corporate recovery projects (PI, PER and SIREVE) either within judicial and extrajudicial scope, as on establishment sale plans within companies liquidation processes while maintaining its operations and activity.

Started her professional experience as Financial Manager at companies on the oil and tourism sectors, integrating the operational management of business units and companies, and later focusing her activity on corporate financial management.

The sectors in which she has worked range from petroleum, hotel and tourism, retail, financial services, consulting, law firms, marketing and advertising, real estate, etc.

Throughout her entire experience, has had the opportunity to teach in numerous training courses in various management areas, including in project management.

From 2011 to 2016, was dedicated to consultancy, providing financial services to SMEs. Within the scope of services and support to clients it was assumed the financial management of their companies, filling their various needs in this area, such as planning and control, treasury and liquidity management, funding and financing management, investment plans, applications to EU funding, along with all relevant related advice.

As integrated Causa & Feito september 2016 in the context of the company’s territorial expansion project to south (more specifically to Lisbon) and to meet company needs that arose from the enlargement of services portfolio,  required by target clients and market, having been integrated as Lisbon´s managing director.

Maria João Franco Passagem integrated CAUSA & FEITO in 2004 as a trainee.
And after the training period assumed all activities regarding clients accounting services and also assumed support functions to management and financial analysis.

Has a degres in Corporate Management and a Master in Corporate Finance by IPL. Is a member of the Accountants Order (OTOC) and is a specialist in tax planning and in matters related to income taxation. Manager and financial analyst, technical responsible for the accounting of several companies and individual entrepreneurs. Specialized in helping clients mitigate risk and deliver added value, combining principles of strategy, data analysis and science. as significant experience in organizational and process design as well as in the preparation of business plans.

Carla Duarte initiated her professional experience back in 2013, immediately after graduating as Solicitor, having integrated a Notary Office, with responsibilities of supporting and assisting all office activities related to instructing, drafting and creating the most diverse corporate legal acts. In 2016, has integrated an Insolvency Administration Office, with the role of assisting and supporting management acts in the scope of the insolvency proceedings, both the ones related to the legal and extrajudicial acts, a role she held up until being integrated as Senior Manager at CAUSA & FEITO, in the last quarter 2018.

Daniela Sousa, started her professional path at an internship in Marinha Grande Fiscal Authority Services under the scope of a professional Internship Program in Public Administration (PEPAP) with a special incidence in fiscal executions.

As been practicing Law since June 2005 in her own office, providing services to companies and individuals.

Was general manager at Grupo Isegoria Capital, SA from April 2013 to June 2018.

Very exquisite competences in the organizing and coordinating the execution of corporate accounting were acquired during 17 year of experience in an international trading company, in which supported the accounting and financial department.

began administrative duties in April 1997 at transportation company – Transema – Transportes Marinha Grande, Lda.. After a few months she assumed responsibilities in the accounting area.
In January 2006, embraced a personal project in hotel management business, being a managing partner of the company with primary responsibility in the administrative and financial area, which lasted until mid-2013, when, by choice, she left the company.
In November 2013 started working at CAUSA & FEITO, currently working in the insolvency department.
